Patient Services Representative Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining all new and current patient accounts.

• Handle all patient inquiries regarding the program, appointments, and fees.

• Scheduling appointments for patients.

• Communicating with various teams regarding patient appointments.

• Ensuring patient accounts are current and in good standing.

Position Summary: 

The Advanced Practitioner will be responsible for providing medical services in collaboration 

with a licensed physician. The Advance Practitioner will implement treatment plans in 

coordination with the supervising physician and inform patients about the medical 

components of their treatment. The goal of this position is to be a key component of the 

integrated care team that provides high quality comprehensive care to each of our patients. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Mentor and conduct professional development activities in medical subjects relevant to the patient’s treatment. 

  • Participate in all trainings as required by federal, state, local, and accrediting agencies and comply with all accrediting, federal, state, and local regulatory agency requirements. 

  • Develop and present training content for education on various medical topics relevant to 

substance use disorders and general good health practices. 

  • Perform medical services within the scope of his/her education, training, and expertise. 

  • Ensure implementation of medical quality health standard for both patients and employees. 

  • Provide medical input into overall program philosophy, treatment services, and patient 

care. 

  • Provide a response to emergency care providers when they require consultation for one of 

the program patients. 

  • Collaborate whenever necessary with other physicians, clinics or hospitals participating in the treatment of program patients. 

  • Attend weekly treatment team meetings, as well as outside seminars and training. 

  • Hold a basic understanding of drug/alcohol abuse and addiction and keep updated on 

current drug abuse and treatment information. 

  • Develop professional, helpful, and effective relationships with patients, team members, and constituents. 

  • Ensure treatment center meets all accreditation standards related to medical, health, and 

safety issues. 

Skills & Qualifications

Job Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree or equivalent 

  • Active state licensure (FNP/APRN/CNP/PMHNP/PA-C) 

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience preferred, with at least 1 year of experience in addiction treatment setting preferred 

  • D.E.A licensure as required by BrightView

Position Summary:  

The Substance Use Therapist is responsible for providing clinical services to individuals with a substance use disorder under supervision and based on evidence-based practices. The SUD therapist will work with individuals, families, and groups to promote optimum health while in recovery from substance use disorder. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver Substance Use Disorder treatment under clinical supervision. 

  • Coordinate patient care with onsite medical team. 

  • Use ASAM criteria and acquired information to provide accurate least restrictive care to individuals, groups, and families. 

  • Administer, score, and perform initial screening tests and evaluations. 

  • Assure documentation is completed with contract regulatory agency requirements and best practices.

The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for resolving staff and patient needs through the utilization of multi-disciplinary support and established resources. The Nurse Supervisor will work directly with nursing and medical assistants to ensure high-quality patient care, customer service excellence, compliance with all federal, state, and local accrediting bodies, rules and regulations. This position will provide daily oversight to ensure staffing, training, and continuous support is available to frontline staffing. Travel as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of all Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and auxiliary staff within assigned site(s)
  • Maintain nursing operations by enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
  • Maintain nursing performance through coaching, counseling of employees
  • Provide continuous feedback related to 90-day and annual performance reviews
  • Hold individuals accountable for daily performance expectations
