SUMMARY:  

The Nursing Director, RN is a driven, visible, hands-on leader who leads a team of Nursing Managers and/or Nurses to provide developmental and training support to nursing staff, focused on dispensing services. This engaged Nursing leader is charged with ensuring the provision of quality nursing dispensing care to patients by engaging staff in professional development, teaching best practices, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality training and support. The Nursing Director, RN works collaboratively with Operations and Medical leadership, Nursing Managers and Nursing staff to develop and implement a training and staff development program. This leader serves as a subject-matter expert and consultant on dispensing services to the State VP of Operations for the respective geographic territory. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • TEAM LEADERSHIP: 

  • Leads nursing dispensing operations and performance across assigned geography 

  • Develops and implements a measurable plan for nursing dispensing services across assigned geography to advance organizational mission, vision, and values 

  • Develops strategies for generating revenue opportunities for the assigned geography,and  cost-effective management of resources 

  • Supports the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing dispensing staff 

  • PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION AND QUALITY ASSURANCE: 

  • Ensures high-fidelity delivery of BrightView’s dispensing programming, including the achievement of quality KPIs, across the respective geographic territory 

  • Implements a comprehensive nursing dispensing staff competency and training program 

  • REGULATORY COMPLIANCE AND STANDARDS ADHERENCE: 

  • Develops and implements standards of dispensing treatment delivery for all nursing dispensing staff, in compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements 

  • Collaborates with BrightView’s Compliance team in providing training and development in response to plans of correction, to ensure adherence to county, state, and federal statutes 

  • STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT AND TRAINING: 

  • Models and trains on best-practices in staff development 

  • Collaborates with regional and center-level leadership to ensure adequate training and staff development activities are offered 

  • Requires regular travel to BrightView centers to provide in-person training and support. 

Skills & Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 

  • Knowledge of dispensing services in substance use disorder environments;   

  • Experience working with addiction in an outpatient and/or intensive outpatient milieu;  

  • Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution;

Position Summary:

The Advanced Practitioner will be responsible for providing medical services in collaboration

with a licensed physician. The Advance Practitioner will implement treatment plans in

coordination with the supervising physician and inform patients about the medical

  • Ensure treatment center meets all accreditation standards related to medical, health, and
