The Community Outreach Manager is a critical member of the development team that acts as the external facing representative of BrightView across all organizational levels.

The Community Outreach Manager’s primary role is to achieve target census and admission objectives through focused referral generation and strategic brand-building initiatives.

This individual will act as the community liaison/outside sales representative for
BrightView’s Mansfield, OH location to identify, establish, and maintain relationships with potential referring partners in the respective communities in which BrightView serves.

Community Outreach Manager Job Responsibilities
• Understand the mission of BrightView and plan outreach efforts to promote it.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of BrightView service offerings.
• Identify, establish and maintain relationships with key potential referral partners.
• Develop and implement outreach activities, campaigns, and strategies to increase community awareness and engagement with BrightView.
• Act as a liaison for external marketing campaigns and advertisements.
• Organize, attend, and participate in special events and promotions advocating for
BrightView and our patients.
• Actively engage/educate community stakeholder relationships increasing brand awareness.
• Serve as representative/spokesperson for BrightView at meetings, special events, and with all communications.
• Establish and maintain relationships with local, state and federal agencies and employers to develop clear pathways for patient access to treatment.
• Identify relevant trends and market opportunities to create marketing materials to support outreach efforts.
• Meet with care providers across all BrightView locations to collect ideas and resources.
• Assist Clinical and Medical teams in addressing market specific initiatives and coordination of liaison activities.

Daily Patient Counseling
Our patients need your guidance! You will conduct individual, group, family or couples counseling using appropriate counseling methods to maximize treatment process and outcomes while utilizing evidence-based therapy based on ASAM criteria

Conducting Evaluations, Assessments, and Recommendations
Your expert knowledge is critical! You will be using your mastery when meeting with our patients to perform initial screenings, provide an in-depth evaluation/assessment and use appropriate interviewing techniques and/or instruments to develop an accurate diagnostic summary/service plan. Make medical referrals when needed.

Creating Treatment Plans
Your treatment plan is a starting point to support our patient’s road to recovery! You will select counseling/treatment methods to maximize treatment process and outcomes for groups, individuals and family counseling. Update treatment plans and quality of service rendered by others. Coordinate patient care with the on-site medical team, including the physician, nurse practitioner, and/or psychiatrist.

Daily Documentation
It’s all in the details! You will write compliance regulatory clinical reports, adult diagnostic assessments, progress notes, diagnostic and transfer/discharge summaries and treatment plans utilizing the agency’s designated Electronic Medical Record, within a specified timeframe.

    Position Summary

    The Addiction Nurse is responsible for working with patients in need of services around their recovery.   The Nurse will work directly with all disciplines in managing and monitoring patients through ambulatory detoxification, stability and maintenance in medically assisted treatment (MAT), provider professionally tapering from MAT, dispensing services, medication reviews, mental status screens, drawing/organizing/resulting laboratory testing, conducting health histories, medication education, in facility nurse visits, infectious education and referral, medical case management, and crisis intervention. Multitasking is a must.  Travel to multiple locations as needed.  A good blend of medical, psychosocial, and addictions is preferred.  Monday to Saturday hours and all six major holidays off. 

    Essential Job Duties:

    • Patient engagement in ambulatory detoxification from initial inductions to office visits conducting medical/psychosocial/addiction/laboratory/drug screens/medication services for patient recovery.  
    • Maintain Infection Control and provide training to both staff and patients on the health & safety policies
    • Comply with the BrightView Infection Control plan which includes personally utilizing universal precautions
    • Maintains medication inventories.
    • Manages patient medication prescriptions and drug administration
    • Obtaining Prior Authorizations for Medications when needed
    • Enters dosing orders into Dispensing software and statewide database. 
    • Case management and referrals to other levels of care, ie; medical/dental/infectious disease/discharge planning. 
    • Completes COWS/CIWAS/Monitor vitals while keeping the team informed. 
    • An active member of the treatment team by contributing to treatment plans and nursing notes.
    • Engaged with the team by providing efficient patient flow and actively educating other team members on medical knowledge.   
    • Obtain health histories. 
    • Administration of injections. 
    • Participate in staff outreach and off-site health care programs as is necessary
    • Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings, and other clinical meetings
    • Comply with confidentiality policies and procedures including but not limited to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

    · Implements a comprehensive clinical staff competency program so that all clinicians are developing towards and functioning at top-of-scope and appropriately given their respective license;

    · Trains and audits clinical supervisors on best-practices in clinical supervision;

    · Ensures center-level engagement in high-fidelity staff development and clinical supervision of clinical staff through regular observation of and participation in individual supervision, group supervision, treatment teams, etc.

    · Ensures Clinical Supervisors are providing adequate new-hire orientation and training;

    · Models and delivers clinical supervision and clinical training, as needed;

    · Verifies the completion of clinical documentation to meet county, state, federal, and internal agency standards, including thoroughness and timeliness standards;

    · Collaborates with center leadership to ensure adequate supervision and development of clinical staff is provided;

    · Serves as a clinical supervisor, covering all requisite duties, as needed;
