Position Summary

Patient Services Representatives are instrumental in managing the workflow of the center. It is the representative’s responsibility to assist in the management of patient flow throughout the center.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining all new and current patient accounts.
  • Handle all patient inquiries regarding the program, appointments, and fees.Scheduling appointments for patients.
  • Communicating with various teams regarding patient appointments.
  • Ensuring patient accounts are current and in good standing.
  • Ensuring billing information, including insurance information, is accurate and updated.
  • Administering urine drug screens when applicable (varies per facility)
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by site manager

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years prior experience required
  • 2+ years of prior front desk experience preferred

Position Summary:

The Addiction Nurse is responsible for working with patients in need of services around their recovery.   The Nurse will work directly with all disciplines in managing and monitoring patients through ambulatory detoxification, stability and maintenance in medically assisted treatment (MAT), provider professionally tapering from MAT, dispensing services, medication reviews, mental status screens, drawing/organizing/resulting laboratory testing, conducting health histories, medication education, in facility nurse visits, infectious education and referral, medical case management, and crisis intervention. Multitasking is a must.  Travel to multiple locations as needed.  A good blend of medical, psychosocial, and addictions is preferred.  Monday to Saturday hours and all six major holidays off. 

Essential Job Duties:

  • Patient engagement in ambulatory detoxification from initial inductions to office visits conducting medical/psychosocial/addiction/laboratory/drug screens/medication services for patient recovery.  
  • Maintain Infection Control and provide training to both staff and patients on the health & safety policies
  • Comply with the BrightView Infection Control plan which includes personally utilizing universal precautions
  • Maintains medication inventories.
  • Manages patient medication prescriptions and drug administration
  • Obtaining Prior Authorizations for Medications when needed
  • Enters dosing orders into Dispensing software and statewide database. 
  • Case management and referrals to other levels of care, ie; medical/dental/infectious disease/discharge planning. 
  • Completes COWS/CIWAS/Monitor vitals while keeping the team informed. 
  • An active member of the treatment team by contributing to treatment plans and nursing notes.
  • Engaged with the team by providing efficient patient flow and actively educating other team members on medical knowledge.   
  • Obtain health histories. 
  • Administration of injections. 
  • Participate in staff outreach and off-site health care programs as is necessary
  • Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings, and other clinical meetings
  • Comply with confidentiality policies and procedures including but not limited to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

Case management services mean those activities provided to assist and support individuals in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational and other services essential to meeting basic human needs. Case management services at BrightView consist of: (1) assessment of the eligible patient to determine service needs; (2) development of an individualized integrated action plan; (3) referral and related activities to help the patient obtain needed services; (4) monitoring and follow-up; and (5) evaluation.

  • Connect patients and families with available resources and follow-up to document

  • Complete detailed reports on needs assessments and case management activities.

The Licensed Practical Nurse working in Addiction Medicine is responsible for providing safe and compassionate care to all BrightView patients and supporting them through the process of recovery through medically assisted treatment (MAT). The LPN ensures accuracy and completeness of patient care documentation including, physician orders, medication administration and scheduling. The LPN will ensure the highest quality of care is provided, provide efficient patient flow and provide crisis intervention as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administers/dispenses medication and injections according to accepted nursing practice

  • Manages patient medication preselection and drug administration.
  • Maintains, monitors, and reconciles medication inventory.
  • Performs initial inductions and conducts medical services.
  • Conducts assessments and monitors vital signs for dose changes.
  • Provides patient education related to treatments and health and safety policies.
  • Signs and processes physician orders and enter notes in the EMR and input flags.
  • Completes documentation using the designated Electronic Medical Record.

Position Summary:
The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical supervision, documentation review, training, and subject-matter support to assigned clinical staff. This senior clinician ensures the provision of high-quality clinical care to patients by engaging staff in routine clinical supervision, by teaching best practices via co-therapy and clinical observation, and by delivering regular professional development and training.
