RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • CLINICAL CARE: 
    • Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments based on clinic needs and best-practice guidelines. 
    • Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques. 
    • Conduct individual counselor sessions as appropriate to competency level. 
  • TREATMENT PLANNING AND PROGRESS MONITORING: 
    • Assist with treatment planning. 
    • Review progress towards treatment plan goals. 
  • COORDINATION AND COMMUNICATION: 
    • Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team. 
    • Ensure timely care delivery, meeting performance standards, and ensuring a high-quality patient experience. 
    • Attend required meetings, including on-site staff meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings. 
    • Carry and effectively manage a caseload of patients. 

 

  • DOCUMENTATION AND COMPLIANCE: 
    • Timely and comprehensively document all necessary treatment data into the electronic patient health record. 
    • Follow adherence to all necessary regulatory and company compliance requirements. 
    • Attend required meetings, including individual and group supervision, and quarterly in-service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROGRAMMING AND QUALITY ASSURANCE
    • Ensures high-fidelity delivery of BrightView’s expected behavioral health programming.
    • Responsible for the cohesive, high-fidelity implementation of BrightView’s behavioral health programming model.
    • Audits appropriate use of evidence-based treatment approaches.
    • Implements standards of clinical supervision for all behavioral health staff, in compliance with regulatory agencies.
    • Serves as a resource and subject-matter expert for non-behavioral health staff.
  • STAFF COMPETENCY AND DEVELOPMENT:
    • Implements a comprehensive clinical staff competency program.
    • Develops and implements standards for Clinical Supervisor development.
    • Models and trains on best-practices in staff development.
    • Supports the recruitment, training, and evaluation of behavioral health staff
    • Requires regular travel to BrightView centers to provide in-person training and oversight.
    • Collaborates with regional and center-level leadership to ensure adequate training and staff development activities are offered.
  • DOCUMENTATION AND COMPLIANCE:
    • Verifies completion of clinical documentation to meet regulatory standards.
    • Partners with Quality + Programs Excellence in developing standardized clinical documentation.
    • Collaborates with Compliance team to provide training and ensure adherence to statutes.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Extensive experience in the behavioral health field, including program management and policy development.
  • Experience providing clinical supervision and ability to supervise therapists and counselors.
  • Knowledge of recovery, mental health, and other co-occurring disorders.
  • Experience in working with addiction in an outpatient and/or intensive outpatient milieu.
