Position Summary:

This individual is responsible for the setup and installation of computers systems and peripherals within established standards and processes, at new and existing sites and also ensure that necessary computer equipment is procured.  The IT Help Desk Site Setup and Support Technician will also support all communication and surveillance systems and ensure functionality and security are appropriately managed.  This individual will assist in training employees on the primary software modules and hardware platforms utilized at BrightView, as well as assist with the resolution of support tickets.


Essential Job Duties:

  • Serve as hardware setup and support technician for BrightView offices.  Travel is required for this position. 
  • Activities include setup and installation of computers systems and peripherals within established standards and processes, and also ensure that necessary computer equipment is procured.
  • Assist in configuration and ongoing monitoring of the local telecommunication and networking systems. 
  • When appropriate work with vendors to resolve any outages or issues.
  • Work on BrightView’s Helpdesk team to provide onsite and remote support. 
  • Assist staff with technical support of personal computers, mobile devices and applications.
  • Assist in developing relevant user-training materials, system policies, procedures, and best practices. 
  • Conduct Training sessions and participate in planning and implementation of infrastructure projects as needed.


 

Skills & Qualifications

Required Education/Degree:

High School Diploma or Equivalent                                                                                                                                          


Required Certification/License:

The individual should have experience with the following systems, applications, or devices:

  • Windows 10 Pro desktop operating systems. Familiarity with Mac OSX a plus.
  • MS Office 2010, 2013, Office365
  • iOS, and Android Mobile Device Management a plus
  • LAN/WAN networking technologies
  • Familiarity with VOIP phone systems

Desktop and Systems Support experience including desktops, laptops, IP phone systems, mobile devices, and other related computer equipment.

 

Required Work Experience:

1 Year. Experience working in the healthcare industry preferred.
