DIRECTOR OF OUTREACH

SUMMARY:

The Director of Outreach is responsible for leading and managing a team of Community Outreach Managers (outside sales) within a specified geographic area, ensuring growth in Admissions through planning, execution, and effective sales management of a regional team. This individual will be dedicated to growing the company’s community account base through hands-on business development, sales management, focused referral generation and strategic brand building initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • OUTREACH LEADERSHIP AND STRATEGY:
    • Collaborating with senior management to establish and execute community engagement strategy and performance objectives for the assigned territory.
    • Assisting in strategic planning/department goal setting and regional objectives.
    • Leading new market development and evaluation.
    • Providing direction and support to site-based Community Outreach Managers (COMs) in developing appropriate market coverage and strategy.
  • TEAM MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT:
    • Managing a highly successful Outreach (sales) team to drive census and meet or exceed department and corporate related goals.
    • Assisting in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training of new hires within the region.
    • Holding frequent performance reviews with the team to provide constructive feedback.
    • Training new hires on company processes and procedures.
  • MARKET ANALYSIS AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING:
    • Improving Brightview’s market position by understanding the competitive landscape, identifying new business opportunities, and building upon key stakeholder relationships.
    • Forecasting and evaluating annual, quarterly, and monthly goals, analyzing data to report on outcomes.
    • Understanding the competitive landscape and keeping abreast of industry developments and applications at the regional level.
    • Attending key presentations and industry trade shows/events as needed.
  • STRATEGIC INITIATIVES AND MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES:
    • Strategic data management and review – providing direction and support to site-based Community Outreach Managers.
    • Consistently achieving weekly, monthly, and quarterly outreach metrics.
    • Utilizing available tools/platforms to continually monitor/track KPI’s and trends.
    • Establishing clear expectations for communication and activity objectives with COMs.
    • Conducting regional sales meetings and continued education programs.
    • Managing and supervising the team to ensure they are on track to achieve objectives.
    • Leading, motivating, and inspiring performance beyond expectations and celebrating achievements.

 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Proven sales and outreach expertise with a track record of driving patient referrals and building relationships with healthcare professionals and community stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences and utilize various communication channels effectively.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities to manage multiple priorities, assess market trends, and evaluate outreach effectiveness through data analysis.
  • Collaboration and leadership skills to work effectively with internal teams, inspire and motivate team members, and foster a customer-focused culture of empathy and trust.
  • Demonstrated healthcare industry knowledge, including outpatient services, regulations, and reimbursement processes.

 

Skills & Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • EXPERIENCE
    • 3+ years of Sales or Marketing experience, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • EDUCATION:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred

Position Summary:

The Advanced Practitioner will be responsible for providing medical services in collaboration

with a licensed physician. The Advance Practitioner will implement treatment plans in

coordination with the supervising physician and inform patients about the medical

components of their treatment. The goal of this position is to be a key component of the

integrated care team that provides high quality comprehensive care to each of our patients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and conduct professional development activities in medical subjects relevant to the patient’s treatment.

  • Participate in all trainings as required by federal, state, local, and accrediting agencies and comply with all accrediting, federal, state, and local regulatory agency requirements.

  • Develop and present training content for education on various medical topics relevant to

substance use disorders and general good health practices.

  • Perform medical services within the scope of his/her education, training, and expertise.

  • Ensure implementation of medical quality health standard for both patients and employees.

  • Provide medical input into overall program philosophy, treatment services, and patient

care.

  • Provide a response to emergency care providers when they require consultation for one of

the program patients.

  • Collaborate whenever necessary with other physicians, clinics or hospitals participating in the treatment of program patients.

  • Attend weekly treatment team meetings, as well as outside seminars and training.

  • Hold a basic understanding of drug/alcohol abuse and addiction and keep updated on

current drug abuse and treatment information.

  • Develop professional, helpful, and effective relationships with patients, team members, and constituents.

  • Ensure treatment center meets all accreditation standards related to medical, health, and

safety issues.

Skills & Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent

  • Active state licensure (FNP/APRN/CNP/PMHNP/PA-C)

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience preferred, with at least 1 year of experience in addiction treatment setting preferred

  • D.E.A licensure as required by BrightView
