SUMMARY:  

As the Nursing Operations Manager at our outpatient addiction treatment organization, your. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of operational and leadership duties, ensuring efficient clinic operations, adherence to regulatory standards, and providing excellent patient care. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

NURSING OPERATIONS: 

  • Assume responsibility for nursing operations. 

  • Manage nursing schedules to ensure adequate staffing and coverage throughout assigned area(s). 

  • Initiate, coordinate, and lead program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures within nursing operations. 

STAFF MANAGEMENT: 

  • Order medication/supplies for assigned sites, monitor expiration dates, and ensure proper disposal per policy.

  • Initiate/implement strategies for generating revenue opportunities for the assigned region and cost-effective management of resources. 

  • Provide shift coverage in emergency situations. 

  • Maintain comprehensive management contingency plans that provide organizational stability. 

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE: 

  • Serve as the area(s) point of contact for governing bodies/surveyors, ensuring adherence to the stated board of nursing and state nurse practice act requirements. 

  • Ensure compliance withof all regulatory bodies within the assigned region, including adherence to federal, state, and local regulatory agency requirements. 

  • Enforce processes for medication management, including safe medication administration practices, safe storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations. 

  • Initiate and maintain procedures, rules, and protocols related to infection control to ensure a safe, clean working environment. 

  • Ensure timely completion and investigation of all nNursing-related Incident Reports. 

Skills & Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Current LPN licensure with a strong background in addiction treatment.
